Stress can have serious and even, on certain occasions, irreversible consequences for our health.

It is important to recognize that we have a problem in order to deal with it as soon as possible, so if you notice any of these symptoms, it is best to contact a professional who will help you deal with and combat stress.

Consequences of stress:

-Dermatological alterations, such as  alopecia, since our hair follicles are weakened in situations of stress; acne, due to an increase in the oiliness of our skin due to high cortisol levels; atopic dermatitis or excessive sweating.

-Changes in the endocrine system such as stomach ulcers, since nervous and tense situations affect our stomach in a very negative way, altering the digestive system. In addition, it can cause eating disorders, both obesity and anorexia can be derived from stressful situations that generate anxiety.

-Insomnia, generated by the alteration of the nervous system that causes disturbances in sleep to be generated.

-In the case of women, it can generate alterations in menstruation and a decrease in fertility.
