These are some of the data obtained in the survey that lastminute.com has carried out to find out how Spaniards combine their moments of relaxation with their work, family and domestic obligations, and to better understand how Spaniards manage their stress.
According to the responses of those surveyed, when specifying the causes of stress, 46% of those surveyed blame excessive professional work, while only 9% indicate domestic chores as the cause.
The difficulty of combining work life with personal and family life
In addition, the remaining 45% also points to the effects of work on the reconciliation of family and work life.
Regarding the agents that cause the most stress at work, dealing with clients exceeds the stress produced by bosses by 5%.
The psychologist explains that “work generates stress for us due to an imbalance between what the work demands of us and what we can control of it, either due to lack of time or lack of formation”.

How to relax and get rid of work stress?
Those surveyed affirm that the main thing to disconnect from work obligations is not to take work home with them. This is the opinion of 65% of those surveyed. This action would follow, in order of priority, turning off the mobile (in 21% of cases) and not checking email (for 14% of those surveyed), once outside the place and working hours.
To combat stress in general and reward themselves with moments of dedication to oneself, 55% of the surveyed population affirm that what relaxes them the most is planning a getaway.
For their part, 23% choose to go shopping and the remaining 22% choose to stay at home and enjoy a good read. music or cinema.
